HELPS PV Rebate Program
Through the HELPS PV Rebate Program, residential customers can receive a one-time rebate of up to $4,250 to help with the upfront cost of installation of solar PV systems.  More information about the HELPS PV Rebate Program is available here.

Please note, all customers wishing to connect any form of electric generation to the ELD's system must comply with the Distributed Generation Policy even if they do not receive the HELPS PV Rebate.

Scheduled Charging Pilot Program


The Electric Light Department (ELD) has purchased 12 ChargePoint Level 2 Chargers and is giving them away for free to electric vehicle (EV) owners as part of our Scheduled Charging Program.  In exchange for the free charger, EV owners are allowing us to suppress their charging rate during hours of peak demand (weekdays 5:00PM - 9:00PM) for the duration of the 3-year term of the program. 

We still have 6 chargers left for customers who wish to participate in this program. You can start the application process by calling the program hotline at (413) 489-0141, or by emailing EV@mmwec.org.
